I always wonder if drugs are essential part of show business, especially porn.

So that we don't argue what is a "drug", let's assume MJ is not.

And it would be interesting to know the drug of choice.

What somebody does in their own time is up to them, but in the workplace, no drugs, no alcohol: you're there to do a job.

I remember when I was at film school, for the 1st year short I was asst. director, and although in those days I was a party animal, on set I was Mr Zero Tolerance. One day, during a pause because of a technical problem, I caught the sound guy and an actor smoking a spliff and I gave them a right bollocking.

Another team had the director and the director of photography snorting coke all the time, and there was absolutely no discipline on their set...

I detest all narcotics. I helped smoked a joint once when I was 14 and that was that. I tell all my performers that I work/live in a drug free environment and I expect them to show up on set 100% clean and sober. (btw - the contents of the glass in my avatar - Diet Dr. Pepper)

marijuana is the only drug for me, I don't even drink any more, and wish I could quit cigaretts. but I'm not addicted (to marijuana), I say no to it at least twice per day when my bf offers. I use it on my own time. The only time it's ok to come to work all fucked up is when you don't care about keeping your job.

Anyway, I only do legal drugs, like Marlboro Reds and Starbucks. ;) lol

I'm totally non-functional on illegal drugs. I used to love coke, weed and whiskey, but I didn't really like the crowd.

Now, depending on who I'm around and who offers, I'll hit off a bowl or joint, still will drink but getting too drunk makes me sleepy(!!), that's about it.
