all done except for the formalities. Yankees once again flex their mighty cash machine and will part with a young catching prospect who may never become a big leaguer.
So the most talent rich team in baseball is getting the best free agent pitcher for at least the rest of this season, and probably beyond.
The problem is, baseball just got more ridiculous. Can even die- hard Yankee fans get excited about minor league teams like the Orioles or Royals coming to the Bronx for a 3 game series against CC, Pettite, Lee ?
And if New York should by some chance not win the World Series, you've got one giant gang of under-achievers.
