I need an apartment in manhattan preferrably 1br or large studio in upper e side or w side. 1250 - 1500. It's difficult to get an apartment w/o pay stubs. I am willing to pay 2 months deposit if necessary to obtain the apt. Very discreet and i wont bring a lot of traffic or unnecessary attention. Looking to move b4 new yrs. Otherwise if any girls know any tricks to getting an apartment please hook a sister up!

actually it's not a problem for me to find a "regular" job, my issue is with my time. Escorting is quick and easy money. With my school hours it's hard to find time to do much other than school work. It wasn't shade girl like i said i appreciate ur help. But there was no need to get defensive!

there's a differencce between using what u have to get what u want (or need) and being a dishonest person. I have never been ashamed of being an escort, especially since, being a transsexual, people c u as a sexual being. An object of desire. Men want me. I cant help that. Why not make money. Get what i want and give them what they want. No strings attached. Especially since most of ya'll are married and just want to experiment anyway. When I found my apartment in CT I Told them i was a hairdresser ...So my Income was off the books .But i had to Fabricated Reference letters ...And also call one of ma girlfriends and tell them to pose my supervisior ..which they never called!!...also MONEY TALKS ...when going browsing for ur apartment always make sure u have at least 3 months of rent on you ...CASH...And if u see something u like tell them u want it NOW and make them aware that u have CASH MONEY ON YOU! They like that cause everybody wants money ....And once they take your money it usally means your in ....

Although this does involve some streching of the truth ...It seems to always work for me ...And im sure if u play it right it will work for u ....and the weird thing is ..I have never had a Landlord check any of my references!!

Shalaya, there is nothing SHADY about being an escort. It may be illegal, but so is oral sex in alot of places. Sounds like Ruby is trying do the best she can to make enough $$ in this city to put herself through college. Which is no easy task unless you have 'rents who are helping you out.

Ruby, you do incalls or outcalls? That will make a big difference in getting a place.

I agree with your post in general Allanah. Cant agree on the part of the girl not having any other choices though, thats simply untrue. theres ALWAYS another choice.

Escorting is more then a career, and you really cant compare it to a traditional career. Its more like a lifestyle change. I know this because ive seen 18 year old girls come into the escort agency fresh out of highschool who never escorted before and want to make some money for college, and what they were like 5-6 months down the line, especially if they were that "hot" girl, meaning they got alot of calls....Totally changed there personalities, and not for the better. Needless to say, college is quickly forgotten.

escorting is a job- its not a lifestyle. it might change you in many ways- but then again so can other occupations- every occupation comes with an occupational haphzard right?

Well if your talking economic shit holes like Thailand and such, then yeah, ive got to agree with you. Some of those countries that exist purely on tourism is where a girls not going to have many choices. But here in the US is primarily what I was thinking.

As I think about it though, if your not lucky like Shay and some others and look naturally female, how do you afford the transitioning other then escorting...Your not going to be able to afford a 30k make over like Jens working a normal 10$ an hour job....hmm...I think thats the conundrum..."How do I transition without the easy money?"
