Matthew Vaughn is directing and James McAvoy is already cast as young professor xavier(seems they are doing the orginal x-men:iceman, marvel girl, cyclops, beast, and angel, anyone looking forward to this movie? I hope it is a better version then any of those awful bryan singer films.

So it's a reboot and ignores the original films?

I just hope it removes that awful aftertaste that Brett Ratners film left behind.

And i hope they include Xavier's son Legion in some capacity.

Fuck a reboot, bring on Cable and Bishop. They were far cooler characters.

dont know if this will work, all the younger people who like xmen like it simply cause logan is a bad ass, yes i know he wasnt around at the start, but lets face it, hes the best character.

not too sure this will take off at all.

I think it can work because Matthew Vaughn is a fantastic director and has done well within the genre, Stardust and Kick Asss. We won't really know till the first trailer comes and when it hits theaters next year. Now can someone tell me who the fuck is the new Spiderman?! Is he a good actor, bad person, or even a human being??? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Andrew Garfield is the new Spider-Man.

The reboot will be kinda like Ultimate Spider-Man but grittier.

edit - Brian Cox as Uncle Ben , Kevin Bacon as Norman Osborn.

Who knows it seems all these directors like to bastardize these franchises. I'm very curious about the Robotech movie that is suppose to be comin out.

been torn about this news for some time now... dont know if Matthew is the right person for this reboot... some of the announced characters are very iffy to say the least... I still cant find info on FX studios or Digital Production...

New Spidy... so much crap without one good shred of info... nothing yet...
