Who cares about this? My god, you're making an issue out of nothing. All types of people get robbed, mugged, raped, murdered every day. This is why people continue to think of trannies as a minority/freakish group and why so-called discrimination continues to exist; because someone tries to apply discrimination to everything in life that happens.

I care. 1. Robberies are news. I hate to see it happen to anyone. There are two possibilities: One, it was random. The person was targeted because of who she was. It is not unreasonable for a people who have been killed just for being who they are, and numerous othe forms of discrimination, to question whether a victim in their community was random, or targeted becuase of who they are.

I have seen this type of argument before; of blaming victimized people for their trauma caused by someone else. Frankly, it does not make sense to me. But again, I have seen it used numerous times. People have to be victimized first before complaining, so how could complaining be the cause of victimization? It's illogical.

There is whole another irony to the crime. Some here have not been sympathetic to transgender women, who are sex workers and become victims of crimes. It has been said that they more or less bring it upon themselves, by choosing sex work. And here is someone who chose college and still was a victim of violence.
