I'm still a bit irate over that wacky post last night. There's been more than one person who just goes off and posts crazy shit every once and awhile (I've done it once or twice myself).

Here's the deal: we have this message board where fans, friends, performers, escorts, pretty girls, all sorts of people get a chance to interact and talk with each other, or just state their thoughts and opinions. In a lot of ways it's like being at a party that never really ends. Oh, and there's the pictures of naked girls, too. Gotta love those. But nobody likes the loud mouth who blows off steam and verbally attacks people or makes an ass of himself. These generally seem to be the people who don't really get a lot of feedback from their other posts.

I guess there's all sorts of ways to look at this issue. Getting angry is just pointless, it never has solved anything. If a person thinks their "not part of the party", just calm down. Take deep breaths, go for a walk, breath into a paper bag or something. This place and the people in it aren't going anywhere, everyone here has plenty of time to make themselves "fit in". Slow and steady wins the race.

And really, putting an effort into being a positive member of this place is worth the time it takes to earn respect.

I'm not even going to mention the fact that once a week we also get to discuss ABC's hit series Lost.
