the media people estimate that LeBron being New York based will translate into an extra $35 million of global endorsement deals.
And ask yourself this: If you're a 20 something wealthy superstar entering the prime part of your career, do you want to live in New York or Florida ?

FL... two words... NO WINTER... the man will be reaching the BILLION mark soon... 35 mill is shit for him... NY sucks balls... they haven't been relevant in 30 yrs whereas the HEAT won a championship a few years back have one of the 3 best players in the world AND have a Hall of Fame Coach/GM... NOT to mention Miami has plenty of marketing $$$ to offer and the cost/sqft on property in almost half the price of Manhattan... He'll get a 12k sqft apt over looking south beach for a quater of the price of living in a 2k sqft loft in soho... did I mention NY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

Isn't "Pookie" Wade a free agent too?
Oh well, it doesn't matter. You can drool over superstars from now until whenever, but in the end, basketball is still a team sport. That's why Cleaveland isn't moving on. If the knicks think they can just go out & buy a winning team by plugging in somebody like Lebron, they're going to stay in the toilet.

Poor LeBron. And expert at coming up small in the playoffs, no matter how tall he is.

Miami's a shitty sports town. You guys have a good MLB team but you don't show up for Marlins games and the Heat was like 15th in home NBA attendance
yes, NY sucks but you won't find a more loyal fan base

did you say loyal... you mean as long as he/she/they are winning... NY is notorious for destroying players/teams who arent playing up to the city's high standards... yes, the Marlins dont get a lot of attendees b/c of the location of their park... hence the NEW park being built in the heart of downtown, ready for 2012... no issues with the Fins or Hurricanes though... this town is a football town... though recent talks with Riley, Wade and Lebron seem VERY promising... wow, Wade, James and Bosch... gimme da rings... we'll see what happens, gonna be very interesting!!
Talk all you want be the REAL basketball team is the Lakers ... bring on the Celtics and championship banner number 16!

All I care about is the Blackhawks making the Stanley Cup Final.

I think you're on the right track!!
You have got to be kidding, the Bulls? One stretch with Jordan and you have the balls to compare them with the Lakers and 15 championships. You definitely know nothing about basketball. Now if you compared the Lakers with the Celtics I would give you some credit but come on ...
Better to not have a team than to have a losing team ...

From all the noise on the sports yak sites and radio, looks like LeBron will be in a Bulls uniform shortly.
And yes GullyFoyle, the Hawks in the Stanley Cup Finals is far more important! Basketball sucks compared to hockey!

A "stretch"??? ok basketball guru... they DOMINATED an entire DECADE when basketball was actually relevant and almost all the teams playing now were playing then!!! not to mentioned they spawned the BEST coach to ever of coached, maybe you've heard of him (I wont get into MJ, thats just a lost cause with a C fan)... point being... take care of orlando and we'll continue this chat!

Do not ever confuse me with a Celtic fan.
I'll give you this, the Bulls were great in the 90s and MJ is one of the greatest players to ever walk the hardwood. They beat an aging Lakers team, Portland and Phoenix, Utah twice and Seattle to win their titles.
I am a Lakers fan. Let's see, Jerry West, Wilt, Elgin, Gail Goodrich, Kareem, Silk (Jamaal), Big Game James, Magic, Shaq, Pau, Kobe, Pat Riley, Byron, Cooooooop, Kurt. Oh and thank you for spawning the best coach but do you know where he learned coaching? I knew you didn't ... Red Holtzman and the NY Knicks!!!
Another thing that shows your lack of basketball knowledge, the rebirth of basketball relevancy started with the Lakers and Magic (if you thought I meant the team then you really don't have a clue) and the Celtics and Bird in the 80's.
Please, when you want to talk basketball do your research and then maybe I will talk roundball with you but in the meantime expand your knowledge beyond a single decade and a single team.

I don't know what the Knicks are going to do. We are in a bad situation, No good players, no defense. I don't see us turning it around. They are thinking about Amare. We'll see how that goes...

I heard on TV that real estate agents are offering Heat season ticks as an inducement to by a condo in Miami.
guess that says it all about the pathetic state of the Florida property market. Lebron is hereby advised to rent a penthouse suite on Collins ave and buy a co-op in Manhattan

Lots of things can still keep the three queens from winning an NBA title. Injuries being the biggest. Wade has already missed nearly an entire season a couple years ago. They don't have any interior defense. The Lakers with all their height & length will cause all sorts of matchup problems for them. I'd even say the Celtics with their superior defensive schemes have a good chance at beating them. We'll see.

Why would I want to live in Ohio? I'd tell you to join the dumbass line but you're already up front there. At least now I know you know nothing about basketball since you can't refute anything I said in my previous post. You are the weakest link. Goodbye.
