I love these things, but don't get caught with one in operation. A lot of state and local legislation has them on the nix list similar to radar/laser detectors.

I so want to have one for those times when you're trying to have a nice dinner with someone and one or more people are yammering away with disembodied voices-in-their-heads. I also have a friend that can't seem to fathom that I have this odd desire that she might talk to =ME= during dinner. :evil:

Legal home phone toys that you can find are TeleScreen (Tough to ferret out since TPC bought the company and scragged the product so they wouldn't lose that Unpublished Number charge from their customers) and the Screen Machine. I have the latter on my home phone and it's been rather peaceful for many months. :D
