Aldo vs. Faber

who saw the WEC PPV last night? to sum things up, the OVER acclaimed and very protected Faber got WORKED for 25mins... at the end he could barely stand by his own power! a true ass whooping!! WEC should never have protected you so much... the rest of the card was AMAZING as well...

Didn't watch the PPV, but I knew that Faber wouldn't last against Aldo. I did see the prelims. I was very impressed with the Leonard Garcia and "The South Korean Zombie", that was a fucking amazing fight.

Faber got his ass handed to him by Brown too. He's a good fighter, but buys into his own hype too much at this point. I will give him credit for fighting Brown with broken hands, but that doesn't make you an automatic champion, nor any better than most in the octagon.

Zombie got robbed that match!! yes, the fight was a total druken back alley brawl BUT, Jung landed MANY more punches... I feel the judges were awarding for simply having thrown a punch... in that case Garcia won huge!! LOL... still, very entertaining fight!! I would recommend buying the PPV replay... half the price all the excitement!!

Jung did get robbed. When it went to decision and they announced that Garcia won, I was like "What the fuck!? How's that possible?" I plan on getting the Shogun and Machida event, but probably not the WEC event. If I hadn't looked to see the results last night, then I would have downloaded it, but since I already looked, there's no use in buying it.

Are you getting UFC Undisputed 2010, when it comes out. I know you like MMA but not sure if you like video games.

Poor Faber. A couple years ago we were saying (along with just a FEW guys on the MMA boards) that he is so protected by the org it wasn't even funny, it was fucking pathetic, put him up against some real competition and let's see some real matches (case in point Tyson vs Faber), instead of some of those laughable emo opponents he was beating the shit out of. So Aldo hammering him wasn't much of a surprise, but the extent of which he shut out Faber sure hurt to watch because I like Faber.

So what's next? Gamburyan vs Aldo? It's the reason Manvel left the UFC. Or even Jorgensen vs Aldo? I'm happy with either one fuck yeah.

Just wish Mir was calling the fight... he's such a Faber homer... always up his ass...not this time... I'm down to see Aldo fight the next top contender which will undoubtedly be Gamburyan... YAAAAAAAAWN... 2:30 of the second round... his replacement hasn't been called up yet... give it some time and a few more bouts... WEC needs its poster child... THIS can really throw down!
