Does anyone know whatever happened to BAMBI WOODS (I'm trying not to say, Barbie Woods), from Debbie Does Dallas?

Not to sound offensive but was she on drugs during the movie, 'cause her eyes were glazed and her speech was slurred.

From what I've heard she simply retired from fuckflix after DDD2. The author/artist of the DDD comic book series (Which was in no way related to the films) did manage to get in an interview with her, but that was a loooong time ago (I stopped dealing comix back in '92, so this was before then).

I think she was always a little slurred/goofy, but that may just as well have been an affectation for the "dumb blonde" stereotype of 'innocent' little Debbie.

Bambi Woods passed away (1986?) according to a website I read recently which dealt with dead porn stars. She had one of the best bodies imo.

I have to run, so maybe someone can Google it for me in the meantime ?

Bambi Woods (born Debbie DeSanto or Barbara Woodson in Pierre, South Dakota) is one of the most famous erotic actresses in the adult film world because of her 1978 film Debbie Does Dallas. She also performed in two sequels to the hugely successful movie, and in another film called Swedish Erotica 12 in 1981. However, the dark side of the industry got the best of her and she became involved with illegal drugs. She is believed to have died in 1986 from an overdose.

It goes on to say that her real name and date/cause of death are unconfirmed.
