Kim Peek, who died on December 19 aged 58, was the model for the autistic character Raymond Babbitt in the 1988 film Rain Man, starring Dustin Hoffman. (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/medicine-obituaries/6867567/Kim-Peek.html) Via London Telegraph.

He lived a life which could be called tragic for it's difference. Yet at the same time, a life the rest of us will never know. He saw a different world because of his brain. A world the rest of us can only imagine.

If one so utterly innocent isn't in a better place, then there is no God.

Sorry if this has been posted here before I did search and found nothing.

Oh crap, Kim Peek died? Glad he managed to contribute something that would last (Rain Man) rather than just memorizing shit.
