You have yourself in a bit of a predicament if your goal is only to date passable pre-op trans girls, and not GGs. If you go and say you're a straight man, but they find you only want to date pre-op girls they're going to think you're cock obsessed. It also screams insecurity, not many people go around on dating sites trying to proclaim their heterosexuality. My advise would be, if there is a "I am looking for..." field, list whatever you're looking for, be to the point, and leave out any commentary about what it means. If you have to select your orientation in one box, just pick straight and leave out any long explanation about why you think you're straight.

Well, you are in a catch-22 with this, since guys dating tgirls who had no prior interest re-affirm their womanhood, by definition. And, given that there are more of them than there are of you, you've got those odds stacked against you. However, those same guys have a higher chance of leaving them for a ggirl (so they can have biological children, social reasons, etc), so I think that attitude is changing in the newer generation, at least for the non-op girls.
