I don't recall ever seeing a larger point spread for a major college football game

A quick google search came up with Florida with a line of 73 over Charleston Southern. I've always hated their pre-conference patsy schedule. Cowards.

Anyways, they didn't cover that game either, final 62-3.

Charleston Southern is not Division 1 football so their games can't be in the official Las Vegas rotation. Can't imagine anyone could have got down a serious wager. I'm thinking the 73 point price was just some outlaw line that made its way into a gambling chat room.
