The toon thread has received several complaints from content holders regarding images posted.

Until I have time to remove the images in question the thread is closed.

There was a list of images that shouldn't be posted inside the thread but
due to the sheer number of pages, its highly likely the notice went unread.

Yeah, who reads HA? We're here for the pics. I can imagine it must be a real bitch to go through all those pages. Sorry again NYCe, for all the trouble. I for one will not complain about however much time it takes or whatever steps you have to implement so you won't have to do it over again in a year's time. I hope my fellow toon posters feel the same.

Hmmm. Never had much interest in that thread but it sucks that it got shut down. How did the copyright owners even find out? Were people using hotlinks and not uploading the shots directly to this site?

You should find out who complained and ban their asses. Then they cant log on and cant see the pictures being posted. The fuckers won't even know what's going on.

I guess in the future, posters shouldn't label the pics their posting in the posts, since a google search may bring them up. Trish should be made moderator of the toon thread since shes a regular there and can make sure no one is posting hotlinks.

hell yeah I'm encouraging getting away with this. This site already promotes illegal activity anyway: PROSTITUTION. Breaking copyright laws should be fuckin nothin.

Um.. it took me several days to find this explanation.

It perhaps would have helped if the subject line read that the CARTOON thread is dead, for the time being, rather than that the TOON thread is dead.

A Search for "cartoon" does not return "toon" as one of the results.

There are reasons to use shortcuts, and reasons to not use shortcuts.
