Brilliant bike, that was: mad as a cut snake past 8000rpm (redline at 14,000rpm   ). A shame that it had the same soggy suspension as the GS500 though :( otherwise it would have been perfect.

My parents are not very well off but they had been saving since i was born (and same for my sister) to help us out with a 1st car. I was a late starter with driving but eventually passed.. and ended up with a 2nd hand Peugeot 106 zest 2 !! ermm 2001 reg I think:)
I dont give a toss about cars in all fairness just wanted something to get me from A to B and thats still the case now ;-). Unfortunately I felt rather had off as this car ended up costing more than double (AT LEAST) what I paid for it within 18 months.. headgasketts and many other things going wrong.....as soon as one thing was fixed, something else broke.. sigh :)

Sammi, those Peugeots are usually pretty solid in the engine department (in my experience at least)... perhaps yours was part of a rental fleet in a past life...
If you "don't give a toss about cars", why don't you pass your CBT (you can even benefit from Direct Access depending on your driving licence) and get a bike?

ooooh no!! I am scared of bikes lol ....that would be worse!! A car that works nicely I am happy with, got a Citroen thing now seems to be ok!!!
The Peugeot was a mobility car apparently, but bought from a dodgy lil scouse dealer (local garage) so who knows lol. I cant really complain it did the job in its own little way and helped my progression in life ;-)
