Okay, I've got a ton of video clips on my hard drive which are a prime example of Sturgeons's Law. (Any Science Fiction fans in here? "90% of everything is crap" -Theodore Sturgeon ). What I'd like to do is get rid of the dross and mix n match the good stuff into one big clip which I can then burn to DVD and watch it on my LCD flatscreen in the living room, and free up some disk space in the process. Mostly wmv but also some mpeg, mov and avi, and real media. Also have some store-bought studio DVDs, eg. Strap Attack and SheMale XTC series where I would like to edit out all the off-camera bullshit from Joey Silvera...oooh, good girl...oooh yeah, good shot...ok here we go...and stuff like the disembodied hand groping in from the side of the frame to tweak a nipple...man, that shit just RUINS an otherwise very hot video and really pisses me off. Anyway, went shopping ystdy and found a bewildering selection of software on the shelves. Any suggestions or advice on editing programs for Win XP Home version would be appreciated.
Thanx

"DVD Flick" should be able to sort that out.

Hi EZwind. Personally for stuff like that I use http://www.avs4you.com/ , you can get a "lifetime" licence for all their software which includes pretty cool stuff for audio, video , dvd burning, the works. Even uploading crap to youtube etc. Pretty nice software imo and easy to use.

Hope that helps
