It's a great big "Sucka fest" and that is all. You'll know if you attend. Go drop whatever they're charging for admission, walk in grinning from ear to ear and witness it yourself. If you mill around and talk to enough "industry insiders" you'll quickly understand that the big down turn in porn profits has little to do with the recession, and a whole lot to do with just what a bunch of dumb-asses heve ascended to the top slots.

If you can wrangle free admission it might be worth it, but when those things suck, and you realize you got soaked out of your hard earned money, it's like a double whammy.

I went to several back in the days when I worked in Porn Valley. The guy that runs Adultcon is almost a caricature of a SFV porn industry type. He does manage to get the talent in his shows because he practically gives away the booths to them. My old boss and I had a booth several times, I think he finally got smart and hired security for his events after the near riot that happened at his 3rd or 4th one.

i went to erotica la, and it was basically a big swap meet, vendors selling their stuff from booths...yes, its mildly amusing if u can get in free (i did) but otherwise they are basically charging u to shop....

I went to show Friday and it was smaller than I thought. I have been to AVN and Erotica La. I was less crowds then the other shows (maybe because it is friday or economy?) and not many booths. It cost $40 for one day and $50 for three days (weird prices?). I still glad I went because I met busty Gianna , Brandy Taylor, and Sara Jay :D . Well there is AVN in January!
