I have to agree with JWL..sort of. Thriller as a song was weak and corny. Clearly a song not aim for a sophisticated, discerning audience. But the video was one of a kind, probably the only video of a weak song that I would watch more than once. I always felt MJ as a dancer was a Sammy Davis type one of a kind. Beyonce seems to hire weak dancers whose booty is the most qualifying aspect. Michael's backup dancer always seem more talented and actually challenged him to perform better.

It is hard to say that Thriller was the greatest video. Surely the most watchable, but their is some missteps in the video, mostly acting and direction, though MJ became a better video performer as he got older.

In general, have no problem with what KW did...except Taylor is a 19 year old country singer who had no rational thought that she was going to win that category.
