I missed this casting awhile back...but it's interesting

Hannibal - Liam Neeson
Face - Bradley Cooper
B.A. Baracus - Quinton Jackson

And I just learned this one...
Howling Mad Murdoch - Sharlto Copely

So I only know the first 2, but checked out the last 2. I have to say it's a good line-up. I think George Clooney would've been a better Hanibal....but he just would've been re-hashing his Danny Ocean character I think.

all in all though I love it when a plan comes together.

Clooney has to save himself for the Rockford Files movie-that one is too perfect not to happen.

I wanted James Caan to play Hannibal, but I guess you can't always get what you want.

But if you try sometimes, you find, you get what you need. ;)

Should be an interesting movie.

Well they can't be vietnam vets. They'd be too old for the roles.

not much originality left in hollywood.. only a select few writers and directors put out genius work. everything else (such as this movie) belongs in the garbage.

I get your concern....I dunno....I set aside my childhood memories when i went to see Transformers and GI Joe....they were ok. I was happy that they got the original voice for Optimus Prime. I guess for me if they throw in a hint or a nudge about the old shows..that makes me happy. I picture Mr T, confronting this new guy. That'd be cool.

I thought gi-was rushed but it was interesting, transformers was ehh-although the fighting scenes weres amusing. other than that gi joe trumped transformers and awaiting ironman2 release to say womp to all movies.

It's unfortunate...I think they really missed an opportunity to do a kick ass Knight Rider movie. Unfortunately they did a shitty TV remake.

WTF i mean after all the flops hollywood still wants to remake old stuff,

1.Dukes of Hazzard =FLOP
2.Knight Rider =FLOP
3.Bewitched = FLOP
4.Night Stalker = FLOP
5.Land of the Lost = FLOP
6.Kolchank =FLOP
7.Flash Gordon =FLOP
8.Bionic Women = FLOP
9.G.I Joe = FLOP (well it made money but in todays standards if it made money it has to be good.)
10.Transformers = Flop these movies are a mess, the robots are just a big pile of metal shit really unrecognizable from the cartoon but it made money so in todays standards it must be good.

Out of all the remakes the only good ones were battlestar galatica and the star trek movie the rest was just garbage.

I think the thing with the A-Team movie and all these remakes is it's like any other "historic" property. People are going to have their own take on them. I mean....should Robin Hood be done in Errol Flynn style in the upcoming remake? I used to cry bloody murder about that stuff...but in the end I realized that I'm not the audience. These remakes are intended for a new generation. My cousins won't know what A-Team is...but they'll see the trailer and they'll go to the movie because it looks cool....and I'll just hope they throw me a bone.

This is really a bad idea. 75% of the regular movie-goers have no idea who they are, since they weren't born yet. Hell, I'm not the youngest and I barely remember what the damn thing was about.

Talk about direct-to-cable...

Well getting the van right was task 1, and the easiest. The next task was getting 3 white guys and a black guy to play BA.

If you don't know Jackson, or Rampage as I know him, his promo work will show what an infectious, funny and genuinely likeable guy he is. I can't say what his acting is going to be like. So for him, and possibly Neeson, rather than being a big fan of the show, I will go see this!

I am surprised that a lot of people don't know who Jackson or Rampage is. He is a very funny guy. I think he will do the Mr. T character justice. Although it sucks that he sacrificed his UFC career for the movie.

I think overall it's a good cast round up. Leeson was a surprise...but he has the acting chops to anchor the team. Sharlto Copley is an unknown...even though everyone that saw him in District 9 said he was amazing ( I really need to see that mvoie ), and Cooper is dead on for Face. I liked him in Hangover.

Like I've been saying..the initial base plot of the A-Team show works perfectly for a Blockbuster movie.

Rebellious rag-tag military group avoids being brought in on crimes they didn't commit. Turn to a life of mercenary work for good.

Pimped out van, cool gadgets, explosions! Sign me up.

I could see Jude Law being a good Face.

sorry but the tv show cant be duplicated and the movie will just be a cheap carbon copy. why cant these movie producers come up with something original instead stealing someone else's idea.

True...you can't take any of those stories they did. They were cheesy and limited. But...I do think that the premise of the show ( soldiers of fortune ) works.
