For Girls: No Makeup

When girls say they are not wearing makeup, I find it difficult to accept. Do you consider face powder makeup? lip stick or lip gloss? In your opinion, what make-up is acceptable when you say you don't have make-up on?

Where do you draw the line?

No make up for me, means no make up (au naturel). However, most women i know..wear lil powder (those talc/mineral ones), lipstick and eyeliner/mascara and call it light/day make up (no eye shadows). I do that too sometimes, depending on LA weather. When it's hot out (85degrees and up), I don't wear any. Besides, make up irritates my skin i.e. zits, dryness, redness etc.

I would consider light powder in trouble areas and chap stick to be 'no makeup.' I go out that way all the time.

That is correct - however I think every girl should have the basics on ( unless of corse while camping, swimming, working out the beach etc...

Powder or sheer spf foundation
Mascara
Lip balm, stain, gloss

That's a clean - presentable face

I have never aske any female what they put on in the morning. But I can say this. Black females I have been with look as good at night as well in the am..after a night of fucking. Others have not.

I think its something with the hair/bangs and general facial shape...

anyways, I tend to like the no-makeup look... I appreciate a certain amount of flaws, and I also tend to dislike whatever I perceive as artificial (I know, that can be opening a can of worms...).

granted, not everyone can pull it off (the no-makeup bit); but I think a lot of women are capable of pulling it off, but for some reason or other (societal demands?) don't realize they can...

My first girlfriend almost never wore makeup, and she was beautiful. On the other hand, I went on a camping trip with a friend (platonic) a couple years back, and inbetwixt worrying about bears and bugs, she was fussing w/ her makeup...
