Back in 2003 I figured I missed out on my chance to ever see my favorite band, The Pixies play again. Bad blood with the 2 lead singers made it tricky.

When they reunited in 2004 I wasn't going to miss seeing them. Took a day-long train to Montreal to catch the concert. Figured it was a once in a lifetime thing.

Well...thankfully they're milking their 80s/90s catalogue and will be performing at the Virgin Music Festival! Here's a clip of a song I'm sure they'll play..

Saw them in Ireland in 1991 just before they split first time round .

One of the greatest bands of the late 80s early 90s

they will be performing Doolittle in it's entirety. It'd be really cool to check out that show.

I heard they were doing this. I don't think it's the case at the show on Saturday. It's Doolittle's 20th anniversary. That would be cool Leora. Are you going?

I'm happy that you're happy for me. :) But yah thanks. It'll be fun. The rest of the line up will be good too. Sloan, Ben Harper, Nine Inch Nails and....interstingly...The Pet Shop Boys.

P.S. - I just wish Frank Black and Kim Deal would kiss, make up and get a new album out there.

I'm not sure yet. I don't know what I have going on that week currently (other than Thanksgiving) and I assumed it's already sold out so I don't feel an urgency to get tickets now. I did look at StubHub to see how much tickets were going for and they were about $100 each currently. Not bad.

club event? If so that'd be amazing. Small venue like that.

That should be awesome , the pixies are one of my faves. Did you see Loud quiet Loud ?

Yup. Own it. Also have Live in Boston and I thought I had the Folk Festival one..but I can't find it.
