They were not just looking to fuck with individuals but stepped over most conventional wisdom of what is acceptable.

To disagree is the beauty of this board but those dudes went way overboard.

I would not be surprised if they were not related or at least related to some disgruntled past poster.

Pretty much. She could have forced the mods to take them down by claiming copyright ownership of them and filing a DMCA act cease & desist letter since she pretty much does own the content.

In any case, even if she didn't have a legal argument for taking them down; reality #1 about HA is that people put weight on what the girls say, because everyone knows if they don't, they'd simply leave.

In her case, she's one of those girls that attracts people to the forum- to say otherwise is crazy, so if it means "take them down or deal with her leaving"- choosing the former is a no brainer. It simply makes smart policy to let her say "hey, these pics of me need to go."
