Disappointing. The opening line alone of Black or White has more melody, range, vocal, etc. than this whole song.

That's right and guess what? In each industry you'll find people with different opinions on a product. You're just one person in the music industry. I'm willing to bet there are plenty of your colleagues who are unimpressed with this song.
