yep, I had to have one. So funny now. The Atari games sucked though. Remember all the cool Activision cartridges? I had Enduro, River Raid, and Pitfall.

It's an old avatar..too lazy to update it. It's Till Lindemann from the German band- Rammstein.

You didn't mean the comedian Gallagher, did you..? lol

Was one of the coolest birthday presents ( or presentations ) I got. My dad said my present was the size of a wallet. So I got it thinking...what the heck is this? You know...as a kid you probably thought something that size was lame.

I opened it up and it was the Space Invaders cartridge! I flipped. Played that for ages. I was in luck too. The video store across the street had the foresight to rent Atari games. I played Spiderman and Keystone Kapers (still one of my favorites).

As for games I owned, Frogger, ET, Popeye, Atari Circus (although I didn't know you needed paddles for that) and a bunch of others I can't remember.

On a side note, a website that I visit regularly, called Gizmodo is having a retrospective on the late 70s / early 80s this week http://www.gizmodo.com.....seeing as though that was when most things went from analog to digital.

lol, i was watching the angryvideogame nerd's atari 2600 review and did they have some f**ked up games, custard's revenge was a game where you raped some poor indian woman and beat em and eat em was some ridiculous game where you had to catch jizz standing below a building, who the hell came up with that stuff.

My home video games started with NES...but I do remember when they re-released the 2600 in a smaller package. Now you can even get ten of those games inside just one joystick!

I totally forgot about space Invaders! I loved that game. It was the first game i remember having a "cheat" where you could hold down one of the switches (reset maybe?) when you started the game and it allowed you two shoot more than one missile at a time.
