WAYS TO BLOCK WORDS AND SPECIFIC POSTERS ON BOARDS???

I need some help.
A while ago someone had referred me to a way where you can block words, screen names and specific posters when you visit blogs and such. Is there such program for a MAC?

Can anyone shed some light?

I think that feature has to be enabled on the site in question, some forums have it and some don't. If there is an all-purpose tool that does this for every site, that'd be cool.

You need to be using firefox and one of the add-ons.
(can't remember which one)
