How could it be anything BUT corny. It was an awful cartoon (and this is from a guy who rushed home to see it every day!) They never did anything, but that damn music was going crazy like some awesome beat down was happening. Mumra was hilarious. Snarf-- irritating!

I was all excited, but then I realized the trailer don't look quite right. I hear they are making a CGI movie for Thundercats, which kinda sucks, because a live-action Vin Diesel as Panthro would be awesome! But who to play Cheetara? Ruby??

Yes definitely Troy, Wolverine from X-Men 3(pretty sure 3) Vin Diesel from one of the Riddick movies, and I think the girl is from a Sci Fi channel series, Babylon 5? maybe, not sure. The old guy at beginning of trailer might be the knight guarding the holy grail from one of the Indiana Jones movies (2? or 3?).

No there isn't much to fuck up with this series just that Thundercats hit it's peak in the 80's and never ever came back other than reruns on Cartoon Network and Sci-Fi. And somethings don't really translate well to the big screen.

The reason Thundercats isn't repeated is because it was always putting across a message to children

Children are different these days and it comes across just a wee bit patronising

I do still think though that done right, ala Transformers, it could be a bloody great film

From a fans perspective Transformers was terrible other than having great special effects the storyline was ruined. And the movie was very unrealistic at times.

I was never really a fan of BW I heard they had great stories. But other than G1 cartoon I haven't dealt with anything else with TF. Though I have been watching Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory and the Japanese take on Transformers is interesting to say the least.

i think it's a fake fan-made trailer but there has been some talk of making a live action movie. just talks so far and a green light has
not been given yet. VOLTRON has to come out soon before Thundercat will. But with so many of the popular, oldie cartoons being re-born into live action films, we could very much see a Thundercats movie.
All depends upon the marketing, director, screenwriters and CGI special effects to start.

the G.I. Joe movie will be a smash hit. Very popular cartoon hit back in
the dayz and the trailers for it look simply AWESOME!

boring ass douche of an actorEh, I liked him in Find Me Guilty (although the movie itself was a mess) and though his voice acting in Iron Giant was minimal it was still interesting. I think he's jest been unlucky enough to have been pigeonholed as a gear head macho JCVD type.
