Rep. Iscoe warns gays will give penises to lesbians who will give them vaginas so that homosexuals can marry and continue their attack on the American family.

Every single talking point in this video has actually been brought up as a serious proposal in one or another state legislature the USA, and Federally in Australia. A few of the bill's contents are actually local law.

During a May 28 show, one of the three hosts on KRXQ's "Rob, Arnie & Dawn" show said he would hit his son with his shoe if he put on high heels. Another said he would tell a boy he was "a little idiot" if he asked to wear a dress.

Officials with Bank of America Corp. and Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. said Friday their companies pulled advertising because they found the comments offensive.

"We listened to the segment and the follow-up comments, and found it quite difficult to defend," Bank of America spokesman Joe Goode said.

Representatives of Verizon Communications Inc., Nissan Motor Co. and Carl's Jr. restaurants also said they stopped advertising.

Transgender advocates and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation have sought an apology from two of the show's three hosts, Arnie States and Rob Williams. The third host, Dawn Rossi, defended transgender people on the show.

"Our issue here is that Rob and Arnie advocated violence against children because of who they are and have failed to take responsibility for their dehumanizing and defamatory words," said Rashad Robinson, senior director of programs at GLAAD.

John Geary, vice president and general manager of KRXQ, did not return a telephone message or e-mail Friday.

During a follow-up show Wednesday, States said he never advocated abuse. He said his comments were meant only as a joke and that he didn't do anything wrong, according to a report in The Sacramento Bee.

During the May 28 broadcast, States and Williams discussed the California Supreme Court ruling upholding Proposition 8, the initiative on last November's ballot that banned same-sex marriage. The hosts then turned their attention to transgender lifestyles.

"If my son, God forbid, if my son put on a pair of high heels, I would probably hit him with one of my shoes. I would throw a shoe at him," States said on the air.

Williams suggested transgender people suffered from a mental disorder.

"They are freaks. They are abnormal," he said. "Not because they're girls trapped in boys bodies, but because they have a mental disorder that needs to be somehow gotten out of them."

I am actually on the fence about outting people for their political views.

On the one hand I think its absurd when gays in the closet try to "grow a beard" by becoming activists against same sex marriage etc, but OTOH if we let people out others strictly based on political views then we risk the more militant/radical groups outting people who aren't truly being counter productive.

Take bashback's mission statement. Under the wording they use, they would be against any transsexual who is in stealth because stealth is "pro-assimilation."

A radical gay group could/would easily see a random trans person in public as "the enemy" if the girl is passable & with a guy, even if she's bi and out to everyone.

It's a very dangerous game to accept politically or ideologically motivated behavior like this. Haven't some of the girls here mentioned militant gays trying to out them before (like to their dates at restaurants etc)?

Don't get me wrong, if I had to lean to a side of the fence it would be the Dependency/Periphery model of economic developement (the one that says capitalism is evil). But generally speaking, tearing down the entire infrastructure of the state is all well and good until it comes to the replacing it with something better, there's a lot of problems with that part.

By the way, has anyone seen the show Queer as Folk? The had a similar thing, except they were called the Pink Posse, and physically beat the piss out of straights who made any hateful incursions into the gay territories. I can't remember what season of the show this was.

My way of looking at it is: What is the group's cause? What the hell are you there for?

If you look at most causes you'll find that most of the members are similar ideologically. It wouldn't be crazy to say that a good portion of the NRA's members are also republicans, also christian, and also male. Nonetheless the NRA's purpose is strictly gun ownership rights, you don't see the NRA officially acting to protest gay marriage, the separation of church & state, or any other SEPARATE causes. They'll even welcome openly gay people who care about gun ownership rights (i.e. look at how many people in the "Pink Pistols" are NRA members).

None of this chances when talking about gay and/or trans issues. Throwing anarchy/"death to capitalism" and so on in with gay issues makes zero sense, and forces the group to divide up its power & effort between too many separate issues while alienating what could be more supporters.

If you care about supporting anarchism, and gay issues- there's nothing wrong with that. That's why so many people join so many separate activist groups.
