I would have said younger, because youth has its own appeal and because so many people let themselves go as they age. I am 47, and as I age I feel there are less and less attractive women around close to my age to choose from to approach and try to date. However, I am still attracted to women younger than me, and I guess I am becoming less attractive to them.

But then I saw the winner of Biggest Loser on Ellen's TV show and she is hot for a 48yo. Not just because she is physically fitter, but emotionally and mentally healthier and attractive to others to want to be around her.

For me, age is not an issue, but more important is whether you click on different levels.
