This term or phrase is thrown around a bit where i came from. Often used to describe a man who epitomises masculinity- although definitions may vary in my country it is often a guy who works in construction or a trade (ie carpenter etc), who enjoys hunting and fishing, prefers beer than water, wine etc, uses expletives rather than polysyllabic words often has stubble or facial hair- now of course these are GROSS GENERALISATIONS but I would like to know what your definition of a mans man (or a real man- in this context are/is). We have many examples down under. Such as the guys below often it seems their sexuality seems to be 'as straight as a die.

So what do you think? Does your definition of 'a real man or a mans man' vary and do you think that the definition of these are changing or do you think we shouldnt use these terms?
