3. Queen

Nice. I kind of have an issue with them reforming and playing with a new singer. A lesser known band...sure...that may work. But c'mon...replace Mercury? No way.

Oh yea Freddie could never be replaced! I love the pixies too, coming up with a top 3 is so hard, but I love the challenge!

Love The Pixies (saw them in 2004) and P-Funk

It'd really be hard for me to come up with just 3 all-time favorites. Recent favorites are Miss Kittin & the Hackers new album, Yelle, and Elliot Smith "Either/Or".

All-time favorites I'm going to have to go with...

1. Bjork
2. Radiohead
3. Portishead
4. M.I.A.
5. Tori Amos

More than 3 but I wanted to keep going... Boards of Canada

I made a list everything on my iPod a few months ago (it's full and doesn't include a lot of other music I listen to but it should tell you something)...

http://www.leoramoore.com/images/80GB%20iPod.jpg

by looking at the list of artist on your ipod, I can tell you have a great taste in music. One that is not just limited to one genre

Thank you, unfortunately that's all I can fit on it and I've had to delete a lot to put new stuff on. I want a new iPod but keep holding out for the next generation to come out since it's been almost 2 years now. Yeah, I like to find things (not just music) I don't like and try to understand what makes other people love it, so that I can have either a love for it too or at least an appreciation/respect for it (for example, I was never into hip-hop until a friend and I decided to exchange CDs and I told her to give me ones she knows I don't listen to and she gave me A Tribe Called Quest, one of my all-time favorites now too)

I definitely understand, because I'm waiting on the next big thing from Ipod myself. I bought mines 2 years ago, a 30 gig for about $300 with a warranty. Recently I think I seen a 120 gig for about that price. So I'm wait a while myself. Cd exchange is how I got into certain artist myself, Rush, The Doors. From your list I must admit that A Tribe Called Quest stood out, I said "hell yea" she like the tribe.

Dark Dark Dark (from Mpls/New Orleans)
Of Montreal
(a three way tie between Tom Waits, Nick Cave and anything Stephen Merrit ie Magnetic Fields, gothic archies, 6ths, future bible heroes etc..)

I love Rammstein..but I think they said that they won't tour the US again.

Saw them twice at The Hammerstein Ballroom. If I could pick three (which is impossible cuz my moods change too much for any one genre) they'd definitely make the list.
