I think Obama is foolish to concern himself with deficit reduction now, and any promises made regarding it will be difficult at best to keep.

For once i agree with Mike (God help me). But I posted a link some time ago that shows over time debt creation results in less and less GDP growth. It's like heroin addiction. A larger dose is requiered to get the same "high".
