It's easy if they have an aol account. Add them to your Buddies list, from there you can email or IM them.

yea, first you gotta know people who use it. get their IM screenname and just add em to your list.ive been using AIM for about 5 years now and have a lil over 100 buddies on my list, but i actually talk to about 5 of em on a regulary basis.
