View Full Version : Do any ladies here desire to someday be a 'mom'?

I know it seems like an odd question... obviously not a birth mom, but either through adoption or getting involved with a single father? I would think that to some degree the tg's would have some degree of a maternal instinct that is obviously difficult to fulfill. Would some of our ultra sexy escorts/models here settle down with the right guy if you thought kids would be in the future?
Just curious.

Excellent question. I don't believe I have ever heard of a transwomen raising a child.
I have seen numerous cases of genetic men transitioning after their children are grown, but never a case of a transsexual adopting an infant, or using some sort of surrogate.
Fascinating topic.

Yeah this is a good topic and I'm interested in hearing what the ladies have to say about this. In my personal experience, my ex and I were planning on raising a child. We weren't sure how we were going to do it at first (whether we would try to adopt or find a surrogate), but believe it or not her sister ended up deciding to carry my seed.
It didn't happen because shortly there after we started having serious relationship problems and broke up after a 2 1/2 year live-in relationship.
To add to the authors question I'd like to ask the ladies. If you do want to be a mother one day, have you thought about how you would do it (adopt, surrogate - his sperm or yours)?

I believe I saw one such case on BBC about a year ago, but it certainly doesn't seem common.
Hmm.

Sounds like I've intrigued the guys, where are the girls on this topic? Kelly? Yasmine? Danielle? Jennifer Paris?... Anyone out there have a deep seeded desire to become a mommy sometime in the future?... the follow up question also is interesting... how would you prefer? adoption? surrogate?...

would def want to be a mom, parenting is tough, i guess im too young to be a mom now since that i got married, plus with the economy now. not a good idea. with the question of whether adopting or surrogate or any other methods of having children... I really haven't looked into it yet. I have to study, research more about it.

LOL, its far more common than you'd think.
Some girls store sperm intentionally so that they can have kids later on, and I can think of a few girls who got a GG knocked up assuming hrt made them sterile.
Hrt does not always make someone sterile and it only takes one sperm (needless to say, a single cell smaller than you can see with the naked eye) to get someone preg. Nature sometimes has its way of being determined...
Then its possible to get someone preg at 12, so even a young transitioner could (as in its possible) have a kid from middle school or high school, although I don't personally know of this having happened (I am sure it has). I do know a postop who stored sperm and had a kid, I know a preop that got a GG preg thinking hrt causes sterility so it happens. Oh, and they're not exactly sure how long frozen sperm or frozen eggs or frozen embryos will last... so there is no saying how long someone could be postop, and still have a kid.

I think Kira offered some insight into this in the past (though from a different viewpoint).

I do, but not anytime soon... Sorrogate mother would be perfect, with his seed, since I already have the modering instinct, and I think that men would appreciate the genetic bonding more.

the topic first came to mind when Danielle Foxx was talking about her 'daughters', and I thought, does she or others have a desire to have a real daughter (or son)...

I definitely see me possibly becoming a mother, when i settle down with my future husband, i would go the serrogate route, use his seed, i think its easier for a women to love a child and be the childs mother even if the baby isnt biologically hers...i think thats a bit more difficult for some guys. although i did watch this documentary where a gay couple went the serrogate route and mixed their sperm together so that it would be undetermined...id also want child that is biologically mine soo...
I think it will be possible to create an embryo using cells from two "males" in the near future, ethic and moral issues aside.
it is already possible to fecund a womans egg with another womans genetic material through cloning techniques...
What about this pretty Jessica Lam?

Basically what she's saying is they mixed the sperm so they had no way of knowing whose sperm ended up fertilizing the egg. Assuming they don't do a fertility DNA test later on down the road, they'd both have plausible denial as to which parent is the biological parent.
However scientists have been able to create embryos using two eggs, so far just in the lab & with mice. So give it a few years and sperm will be optional for producing offspring.
