Yeah, I installed the Windows 7 Beta and... it's totally badass. Pretty much looks like vista aside from the new taskbar down bottom, which IS a big improvement. Much faster than vista, more stable... little enhancements here and there that make doing pretty much everything a breeze.

I was never really on the vista bitch fest, as I felt it was fine for the average user. I did do all of my audio work and some obscure sharepoint stuff in XP though. My main annoyances were files taking too long to copy, zip files taking much longer to extract in explorer than in 7zip, etc.



So I wouldn't necessarily tell everyone to run out and upgrade to the 7 BETA... but so far, it seems as if that'd be a solid move.

Read the Reviews for it, They mostly seem to say its a terrible machine and the customer service is even worse.

The mini's look nice, but dont care for small SSD, rather
see one with sata option. 4-8gb seems too small amount of space to have.
