Yeah, that's it, Bill Miller's! I lived in Austin in 1995/96 and used to eat there quite often. Not too bad for drive-thru.

My favorite after hours eats were Abbey Road and Magnolia Cafe. Got tricked many times into Taco Cabana. Even their eggs taste funny.

Absolutely. Smoked brisket is unbelievably good. Add in some smoked sausage and extra spicy pinto beans and you have a real plate there.

I used to get the "Popeye Omelet" which had bacon, spinach, red onion, avocado, and cheese. They had a good cup of coffee too. We have a place in the LA/Marina Del Rey area called Maxwell's. They have this thing called the "Garbage Omelet" which has ham, onions, mushrooms, avocado, cheese, and covered in Spanish Sauce. It's pretty good too but I miss that "Popeye Omelet".

In Austin, is a gym chain called "Future Firm" still around? I sold memberships there for awhile in both the north and south locations. The south location was nice and open 24 hours. The people who owned Future Firm were clueless and had no business being in the gym business.
