Aretha Frankklins work is legendary. "Natural woman"(sorry, all. No pun intended) is my favourite of hers. She is just amazing.

She was a forerunnner in many ways regarding soul music. Billie Holliday is still my all time fav female singer, though.

Aretha Franklin uses her voice better and much more powerful than Britney and no question about Aretha being the better singer. But fact is their vocal range differs by 1/2 octave.

Beyonce can definitely sing. I as well as countless many, have heard that girl sing live.....especially when she was part of her group.

She can sing, She can dance, and she can act. She can demonstrate all 3 of those with above average competence, which makes her a bonifide TRIPLE THREAT ARTIST.

Is she a package type of artist, yes....these days especially, but she was home grown in her garage, at home by her mother and father who cultivated her talent. I consider Beyonce a legitimate talent.

That said I bet her show is a blast. I've been to some shows where the talent was only okay, but if the crowd was into it, it didn't matter a whit. The show was a blast, I expect this one will be fun for the faithful too.

Congratulations! That is definitely a hot ticket. Everyone wants to see if Britney really is back. I have to admit, I was a Britney fan, but before she had all those issues. She, like Madonna, never said they were the greatest of singers, but they were fabulous entertainers and put on some awesome shows.

Her performance still reminds me of that awful MTV Awards performance a couple years ago where she basically just walked around. If this vid is any indication of her current status, paying so much $$$ for lip-synching and sub-standard dancing and entertainment may be a waste. She's looking better, but her moves don't 'pop' like they used to. And it's not like she's old, so I have to wonder if she's putting in the work to give her fans a great show.
