Aaliyah's claw prints are the only tats out of that trio that I like, but I do prefer them more discrete.

Vitoria23 looks kinda like a cat to me.

I don't think getting inked up is a bad thing. You have to just be sure you want whatever for the right reasons. I have four big tattoos (all non-visble for work reasons) and I have to say, once you start it's hard to stop. I ran out of places that were not visible with regular street clothes. That one with the anime girl looks pretty crappy though. As long as you, the girl, or whoever made a choice that they can live with for the rest of their life, I say go for it.

Depends on who it is and what it is. Everybody doesn't look right with every thing. Especially trendy things like, tribals, barbed wire, etc.

The TS girl I messed with had a dominican flag on her. Looked pretty good to me.

Hmmmm, lessee, how should I delicately put it ...

Na-a-a-a-a-ay!!!

Okay, rant time: For the longest time tattoos were the sole propriety of, (A) Servicemen, particularly those in the Navy, (B) Skidrow bums, (C) Rock stars, (D) Motorcycle club members, and finally,(E) Gang members, et all. Though now more widely accepted by the general public, they are still considered by about 80 percent of the public to be dirty, sleazy and simply unbecoming. I look at young people today and simply wonder if they know what they are doing and thinking(No!), particularly when it's a young beautiful woman with otherwise flawless, even toned skin. It's assumed she'll most likely change her tastes in the type of shoe she'll wear, her hair coif, her wardrobe, etc, so what pray tell is she thinking when she goes out and gets a permanent tattoo on her body ??? I can tolerate a small one in a discreet place, such as on the backside of the neck, shoulder blade, or maybe a fine one around the arm or ankle, but most of the girls who get tattoos such as Sol completely disrupt the continuity of their flawless skin by not just where they place them, but also by the amount (two or three) they put on their bodies. Sol would probably be an eight or nine in my book if it weren't for those gross things. Why place a blemish where there isn't one to begin with ?

By the way, the only thing growing faster than tattoo parlors, are tattoo removal centers and the cosmetic surgeons who specialize in removing them. People are realizing at a later date that they are not the same person today than they were five, 10, or 15 years ago when they first had the bright idea of having one put on. It makes one wonder whether having a tattoo is not just a badge of ignorance, but one of weakness also, as so many feel compelled for some reason to have to go with what's in vogue.

... I'm not here to proselytize, just to give my two cents worth. By the way, ask Cher what she thinks of tattoos ? :)

I'm not a tatoo fan and would never get one myself, but I like a discrete tat as described above, or an artfully executed tat on the back. Yasmin, a Thai girl, has a tat on her low back that looks fine. But I can't see inscribing one's belly with a huge tat. That just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Generally nay, but Kimberley Devine's butt tattoo has some appeal.

Having 4 tattoos myself I can honestly say that I like women who get inked; BUT I can't stand it when ANYONE gets inked with something they saw on someone else and thought it would look cute on them. Case in point, the Eve cat/dog paws tattoos of the late 90's............... cmon now, it looked good on her, that's it

Take the time out to be original if you're going to get inked, get something that won't ever be seen again, and when your tattooist does your tattoo, take the design with you......................

i'm with Tomselis on this one. Depends on the who, what and more importantly where. My gurlfriend has a very sexy and detailed lace garter belt on her thigh. It's only as visable as a real one would be and since i have more than casual nylon fetish thing it works wonders for me. Keep it distinct, great placement plus good use of negetive space and i'm a fan be it a single piece or a multi tatted babe a la suicide girls look. Actually i really love Japanese inspired work, still looking for myself. Wifey claims i'm the last untattoed man in the Bronx LOL.

I could work with this!!!! Asia has a few tatts, ok maybe the barbwire on her arm is a lil hooky but i'm feel the quality and the placement of her dragon. It does not seem she just walked into ABC tattoo and said gimme no. 42 and slap it right here.

Eva Vortex's work while a lil heavy for my tatse still works in that Suicide Girls frame of things. I would not kick her out the bed that's for damn sure. Probby would freak out Realgirls though LOL.

I don't mind tatoos as long as they're not "overdone".
What's with a lot of the brazilian models having those tatoos on their abdomen. It looks like it's some kind of initiation thing, b/c I've seen very similar tatoos on a LOT of brazilian models.

tat's aren't a dealbreaker for me-some are sexy, depending on where they are...too many definitely not sexy. I just can't believe how trendy they've become for girls...it seems like every college waitress(or server, to be PC) that I work with has one above her ass...it's like a freshman requirement nowadays...

I just can't believe how trendy they've become for girls...it seems like every college waitress(or server, to be PC) that I work with has one above her ass...it's like a freshman requirement nowadays...

I work with a lot of college coeds at times, and many come to me for my take on the things pervading their young impressionable lives, and I can't tell you the almost startled look that hits them when tattoos are the topic and I ask them to tell me how they were wearing their hair two or three years ago, what their wardrobe was like then, what music they were listening to then, and so on, and then I naturally ask them if they know where they'll be and what they'll be into two or three years down the road in the future -- a time when most go through some profound changes in that constant search of who they are. Their response is generally the one with deer and headlights involved. They generally can't answer that. ...The biggest reward comes when they come back at a later time and thank me for talking to them about it and thus playing a huge role in their decision not to go ahead and get one. The majority tell me that they never considered the things I brought up with them, such as how the tattoo will change over time due to the ink's characteristics and the person's weight gain or loss, or what they're going to do when tattoos simply aren't as vogue.

I know what you mean, Mike, about there ubiquity, and some are quite ornate and well done, but I'd still prefer a woman without any ... the human body is not some scratch pad to doodle on, nor is it part of our history or culture, in my opinion.

Sabrina C has a big scar on her abdomen, probably due to an operation. That tatoo serves the purpose of hiding the scar.

Im inked up pretty well w/ two-thirds of my back and shoulders and both arms to my elbows all in solid black tribal w/ important symbols mixed in.I get stopped often on the streets of Thailand and complimented by both Thais and farangs alike. That being said,I'm also a pretty butch male and I prefer my women to be as femme as possible.
I think ink on girls detracts from their femininty, although it has never been a deal breaker for me.I just prefer ink free or semi ink free girls.Lower back, ankle or thin armband(360 degrees...whats with this 180 shit?!) can be nice, but for me thats about it.

This is my 2 cents worth, and I might get some people upset but this is only our own personal thoughts,

I dont have any tattoo's but I was thinking of getting a tattoo a few years ago. I told my boyfriend at the time who was in the Marines and some what conservative. When I said to him "I am gonna get a tattoo" he replied with "no your not". I thought who the hell is he telling me what to do? Then we talked about it further and his thoughts were that guys look good with tattoos but when a woman has a tatoo it makes her look trashy. I thought about it for a while and then I agreed.

Guys with tattoo's are totaly HOT. I think a tattoo looks nice on girls in their 20's, but then when you see a woman with a tattoo in her mid to late 30's she just looks pain old trasy with a tattoo.

A lot of my GG stripper friends have a tattoo of two. Most have the famous one that all strippers seem to have on the arch of their backs. Two girls I know got their boyfriends names tattooed, and that looks beyond trash I think. I was dating another guy once and he wanted us both to get tattoo's with eachothers names, lol. I laughed and said what happens when I leave you, lol, and that is what did a short time later.

Look at people like Pam Anderson who often times has her arm band covered up wtih make-up.

So my advice is think about the long term before you put ink on your body.

Kisses,
Julie

the joke is in 20 years we will have techniques out that will literally wipe tattoos with a few applications ( who knows maybe even over the counter)

I agree with Julie that names and such are stupid
I'd also like to take this time to laugh at the hundreds if not thousands of girls that went out and got cat or dog paws tattoed on their tits, hips, or buttcheeks because they saw some chick in a video with it and thought it was hot................................... 10 years later, I bet that saggy skin has made those puppy paws look like fullbred adult canine paws

the star to me represents doing better for myself,. dream bigger, it wasnt an impulse thing for me both of them were planned out for a long while.,. also like alannah i used to be a "Starr" .ive always loved stars, i have starrs all over in my room and i do a lot of stars in my art so its not anything ive just been into for a day ,. i saw it on giselle the victorias secret model,. and thought it was a perfect place to put it,,.i read a post a while back on how tacky tattoos with meaning are but to me like a scar its a mark in the timeline of your life,. .guess that artists soul i have,..
im a practising buddist going on 7 years so the lotus represents that part of myself and the japanese kanji stands for "new beginnings" which to me was around when i started my transition so it represents that. i got them in open viewing places but also really easy to hide if i need with a watch or shoes so its not like mike tyson and all over my face,,. .

anyways i do plan when im in my 40s and still fabulous to get them removed thats why i kept them very small ,. i know i know why get them if you are only going to get them removed but like breast we get them even tho we have to remove them . ..to me i represent parts of my life with art,. other people with big knockers. lol some dont plan like me what they are going to get but thats them,. . only stating that i got mine for a reason :-)

Every time I hear people talk of tats I remember this line I heard:

"A tattoo? Seriously? Man...That's so...Permanent. Why not just get married?"

I've seen some really nice ones and a few that were somewhat over the edge. They all have their meanings.

I agree on the name thing, recommending that if you want a name on your skin it should be limited to your own, (For identification purposes, in case you forget and leave your skin behind at some checkroom of a fancy restaurant) or the safe three of 'Mom', Elvis', or 'Jesus'. Even the last one has its caveats if you are Latino.

A former coworker of mine had the unenviable experience of having to explain to her cellmates why she had the name of the chief witness for the prosecution (Her ex-lover) tattooed on her arm.

Think before you ink. :)

Personally not my thing, and I want to know who brain washed people into this whole movement... I don't mean liking tats, I mean people making stupid choices when it comes to tats: everybody knows its stupid to get your mates name tatooed on your body, but it's still done over and over, and people still get tats in a foreign language and have no idea what it means! It's obviously mind control.
Oh, can someone explain the "sexiness" of turning your body into a billboard?( I never put bumper stickers on my car either). I mean can a tat make an ugly person sexy or is it that a hottie makes the tat sexy?
I personally have never thought a tat was sexy, but seen many sexy people who have tats--- its different

Not a big fan of tats on males or females. Although, I admit I'm a little conservative when it comes to such things. Lemme put it this way, I consider the female body a work of art in and of itself, so putting tats on a lady is a little like tagging the mona lisa--it just gets in the way of appreciating the beauty underneath.

Coming from a land where tatoos are not just common but almost obligatory, I thought I'd rekindle this thread.

For girls with skin art, what promped you to have the work done? Any regrets or plans for more?

For girls with no tatoos, have you considered any skin art and, if so, what would you have done?

For guys, what do you think about girls with skin art - a turn on, turn off, what's the best examples?

Personally, I don't have any tats but my ts gf has skin art on her lower back and right shoulder - looks just fine to me.

Agree that it's almost obligatory to have tattoos nowadays. I don't have any myself and don't want any, ever. I can appreciate the artistry of some tattoos but lots of them tend to look thrashy indeed.

Just go to the beach and look at older people with tattoos before you decide...

MacShreach

I like tats as long as they're nicely done. It's like any art form--there are good artists and bad ones. I've seen some proper howlers and some really nice ones, and a nice tat on a pretty girl-- yes, that works.

The ones that don't look good on older people are the ones that were stupid/badly done/a mess in the first place, you just don't notice the tat so much when they're on a drop dead babe of 25....
