You mean browser-based cleaners? I haven't used any. Try these though:

Ad-Aware 2008:

Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware (gets rid of that annoying Antivirus 2008/2009 virus that pops up in Windows XP):

Spybot Search & Destroy

Ad-Aware, by Lavasoft is a good one. I haven't found need for any other.

Note: That's just for adware/malware bullshit. If you are looking to serious virus software, Norton, McAfee and others are good.

AVG is a great piece of software and has a free version that does great at protection.

I also use Ccleaner which is very awesome and free as well and is a Windows Optimizer cleaning registry and junk files and such.

I concur that the free version of AVG is great. The free version of windows defender as well (even though it is produce by the Dark Lord).
