Titans TE Bo Scaife had a career-high 10 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown.

It was over when ...
Kerry Collins ran a bootleg and found a wide-open Bo Scaife for 10 yards on third-and-5 with two minutes left in the fourth quarter. With the Bears out of timeouts, the Titans were able to go into the victory formation and secure their ninth straight win.

Game ball
The Bears sold out to stop the Titans' explosive rushing attack, so Tennessee simply responded by putting the ball into Collins' hands and telling him to win the game with his arm. Collins did just that, completing 75 percent of his passes and befuddling a Chicago secondary with several key third-down throws.

Key stat
To put in perspective just how much Tennessee relied on Collins for its offense, look at the Titans' rushing totals. Coming into the game they led the AFC with 149 yards a game on the ground, but against the Bears they had only 20 yards on 29 carries.

Noteworthy
Tennessee entered the game as the only team that had scored on all of its red-zone possessions, but that streak ended in the first quarter when FB Ahmard Hall fumbled at the goal line. ... Titans WR Brandon Jones had a career-high eight catches. ... Bears QB Rex Grossman got the start in relief of injured Kyle Orton.
