Yep, and that was about the extent of the coverage from the mainstream media. So Bush/Cheney basically pardoned themselves for torture. Without going back and digging through the whole thing, I think the FISA bill protects them from prosecution for wiretapping as well - at least the criminal aspect. They may still be subject to civil suit - or vice versa; my memory is hazy atm.
