Ah yes, republican congresswoman Michelle Bachmann. She was definitely channeling uncle Joe McCarthy here. She wants the press to ferret out 'anti-Americans' in Congress, indeed. The day after this loony/scary Hardball interview, her opponent raked in about $500k in campaign contributions.

It really is a shame that the republican party has been infiltrated by nut job neo-cons and religious fundamentalists. The ones that believe in smaller government and more freedom have been drowned out by these retards. Not that the democratic party doesn't have some real winners either, but that's a discussion for another day.
