Oli again, my concept of my column is more bloggy. My thoughts on surgery, My thoughts on the community, my thoughts on politics some what.

If you read the article you see I care more about the economy than anything else. You see I care about the soldiers and their families. You see I care about the children, rather than my own selfish wants of marriage, better rights etc.

Thats what should have been taken from the article!

And I wrote in to Meghan telling her of the mistakes I posted that in my FIRST POST. I even said in the article I will learn about him after I watch the debate after I tivo him. That part was to show that Sarah has been TALKED ABOUT THE MOST. It was to lead into how AMERICA has became SO POP CULTURE like TMZ.

Because she is attractive and says dumb things, they have made her out to be the Britney Spears of Politics. Everyone wants to be her for Halloween, and they "hate" her but secretly love her!

The Republicans knew what they were doing when they picked her.

The Dems need to get off their butt and start putting articles out there on Biden.

It wasn't Kelly's fault that the article went up the way it did, I was half awake last night while working on everything for the website. As you can imagine I am overloaded with many things for the website on a daily basis, and sometimes through lack of sleep, I forget to go back to a page I had been working on earlier. Please don't jump on her for not doing anything positive. She's working her ass off for our organization and doing some good for the world. So there were a few misspelled words, big deal, it's been fixed since then. And not many people know anything about Joe Biden, I think she's trying to get her point across that Joe Biden just like Sarah Palin needs to be researched. I don't understand jumping on someone for feeling the way they feel about an issue.
Take a step back, once again, I feel like I say this all the time to people, and look at the bigger picture. At least she's trying to do something, and some good for the world around her.
We stand behind Kelly and her articles because we think she's smart, and has something to say. So there you have it. Now if you want to go back and spell check the article I'm sure you'll find it's in it's proper format now.

Keep doing your thing!Usually Meghan does proof read I should be better about spellcheck so she doesn't have to! She is a busy lady I know. I am also busy. My schedule this month is crazy, and I am trying my hardest to write weekly for this. I would feel like I was neglecting people that do enjoy my articles and take something from it.

Kelly, thank you for caring enough about our nation and people to take the time to delve into the political muck that actually runs this country. Too many simply can't be bothered. I doubt most young people knew much about Biden other than his name.

There are a lot of players on the national scene. To get a grasp of the House and the Senate, you have to watch some CSPAN, which can be as exciting as watching a fly crawl up a drape. Understanding the political process takes time; kudos to you for having the courage to begin the journey.

Really surprised this thread has gone on this long.

I was surprised that Biden wasn't better known to Kelly as he has run for the Democratic nomination at least twice. There are plenty of interviews with him from those times, as well as interviews from him as a Senator. That and we have a fairly long voting record from him that's easy to look up. So he doesn't make news much as he is old news to the people in the industry.

Both Obama and Palin have relatively short careers and a lack of time interacting with the national press, so get a lot of attention and benefited from it. This is part of what Kelly talked about with the person of the moment being more important than the issues in the eyes of the media and much of the public.

At this point in my life I've become a bit of an anti-Republican, because of the underlying agenda that party keeps pushing when they get in power. The Dems have one too, but it's less painful for me and at least in my opinion they accomplish less that is dangerous to the underlying structure of the constitution. Sometimes you want a government that doesn't get much done... in part because most of what folks want done is about someone making money at the expense of someone else.

As to the web site it appears on... I like that variety of stuff discussed and the different voices being used.
