I'm curious about what sequels ya'll feel should never been made.

I'll start with a cpl

Weekend End At Bernie's 2.

Some people may say the first should never have been mad, but I love that movie w/ some 420

And

Highlander was great, but they truly screwed up everything that followed

I agree with Kira about the Highlander sequels - I also think that Men In Black 2 should have been ripped up when it appeared on the writer's table. :roll:
Plus, I'm not totally convinced about Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3. As far as I'm concerned, something doesn't hang right in them. Maybe they will grow on me in time. 8)

Caddy shack thats got to be the worst sequel ever. The silence of the Lambs sequels were not nearly that bad of movies but they (much like the Matrix ones) were such a huge let down from the first.

The mummy returns.Just a shadow of the first part.They concentrated on the action scenes instead of the story.Just hope the third part is better.

I agree with Blues Brothers 2000 and Alien: Resurrection (Alien 4)...

Alien 3 was actually quite good though; it had a very interesting sense of atmosphere...

I'd also add The Crow: City of Angels, although the next entry in the series, The Crow: Salvation wasn't too bad.

I liked the 2nd crow movie, city of angels was pretty well done imho. I think it just gets a bad rep because everyone wanted it to be on the same scale as Lee's performance, which just isn't possible.

All the other ones and the cheesy rip offs on the other hand, were terrible, but none- and i mean none of it was nearly as bad as that crappy, painfully cheap, painfully bad tv series that was on briefly.

"Die Hard II"," Die Harder" should never have seen the light of day. IMO "Live Free or Die Hard" should have been called "Need Money Times Are Hard!"

Any of the Batman movies after batman returns but before batman begins. To be honest Hollywood being able to remake the batman franchise so quickly proves how few new ideas they have...or... how afraid of risky new ideas they are.

I have Whedon's original Aliens: Resurrection script and it is 100 times better than the film. They actually took the best character out entirely for some reason.

If you've seen Firefly or Serenity those characters are basically mutated versions of the characters in the original Resurrection script.

Since this is a porn site, I'm not surprised nobody has brought up any of the horrible, straight to video sequels that Disney cranks out whenever one of their movies do well. The only one that's as good as the original is Toy Story 2.

Have to throw in with the Highlander 2 call.

We use to say you had three movies... Highlander the Vision, Highlander 2 the Abomination, Highlander 3 the Apology. To take a gritty high fantasy and somehow go to 'meanwhile on the planet zeiss...'

And I paid full price on opening night... the scars still haven't healed.

Also the howling sequels. Such a good cool concept for a werewolf (personal favorite of mine) movie, and turn into a bad soft core porn... the pain, the pain.
