In SLO: Madonna Inn & Bubblegum Alley are the "must see" attractions. Pismo Beach is nearby (I was only in SLO briefly)

I was there a fairly long time ago, but the Art Deco movie theater was really gorgeous.

LOLjust go to marsh street there are a lot of bars and fun things to do there. Its a college town *when schools in* aka cal poly. But Go eat at the Splash cafe, or woodstocks pizza. Its a great little shopping town. You have the Grad night club near the air port. Etc.
