1. Go out and do stuff that makes you happy. (Always a good idea)
2. Find guys who are smart interesting and know how to have a good time. (If you need an introduction, just let me know)
3. If you are stuck on this guy (never a good idea) let him join you when you're doing something with other friends so that if he flakes, you won't miss him.
4. When you're making the appointment tell him straight up, "hey, I'm really busy, so I need to know, are you the kind of guy who flakes out?"

I dated this one guy who had some medical problems (won't elaborate). If it flares up on him, he literally would have to suddenly stop everything he's doing even if that's 5 minutes before he's set to leave to met me someplace.

Since it was a real reason, not him just trying to fuck with me- I let it go, just as I'd expect guys to not get all cranky if something comes up forcing me to not show for some reason.

But if I think its just because they're insecure with the idea of meeting me, or worse- wanting to be belligerent, I'm not gonna be wanting to keep setting "dates" in the future.
