What's the dumbest thing you ever spent money on?
Sarcastic answers also welcomed on this topic, lol

For me it would have to be this piece of shit device called the tornado, you guys might remember it http://www.autostreak.com/images/tornado/t_big_top.jpg

the store I bought it from claimed that it would increase my gas mileage, improve my HP by 15%, blah blah blah

never saw any of those gains................

that was about 12 years ago, the shit is still selling which means people are still getting duped

would be the select comfort sleep number bed off t.v....

i paid almost 3000 and the bed is crap, comfortable but it falls apart n rips. when they delivered it i was expecting a mattress but instead the freaking thing came in boxes. too much crap going on with it although it is comfy. i'm thinking about switching back to a good ole' sealy posturpedic. better not rip off the tags or the hung angels patrol is gonna report me. 8)

Years ago I fell for that damn speaker scam.

I'm driving around and dude pulls up in a white van & says, "I got some speakers that I'm trying to get rid of". He has a logo on the van and all, so I let curiosity take me further.

We both pull over and he opens the back of his van. First thing I notice is these sleek black floor speakers. I knock on it and it seems like it was made out of the finest oak. Dude whips out a catalog and shows me all the other speakers this "company" makes. I thought it was a deal, so I took the bait.

$350 bucks later, I anxiously hooked the speakers up, only to realize that I got "GOT"

I later found out that this was an operation than ran from here to Malaysia.

Jade, if the urge for a male escort should ever come over you again, please pm me immediately. I will fly down, and go down immediately. And I won't charge anything.

Same here--except they were incredibly fine speakers, Acoustic Dynamic Systems liquid-cooled model 520. Still use them as my primary speakers 20 years later. Obviously they were hot (but he "had the paperwork"). Cost me a couple of C-notes, but aside from the risk of receiving stolen merchandise, they were an excellent buy.

Dumbest thing I ever bought: probably 2-rate exercise equipment which I bought cheap and never use, clutters up the basement, and is poorly made. I've got a treadmill, a ski machine, a walker, and a stationary bike I've never even assembled.

That was a long time ago felllas, and I was drunk and didn't know any better. Trust me, by now I have learned how to seduce my way into any mans pants...lol

Jade, it's always easier for a fine looking lady to get her man than for an ordinary dude to seduce the lady. But that's what makes the chase fun, innit?

for me it would have to be the year I bought my mother one of those damned pizza cookers and slicers (long before the "air cooker" was ever invented) I think I spent around $20 for it.
