Strange Things Lying Around

I was just in the alleyway at work, smoking a cigarette, and I look over at one of the dumpster lids. On top is a brand new (receipt in it) text book on midi synthesizers and an unopened bottle of steak sauce. I kid you not, I took a picture that I'll upload when I get home.

What the hell situation led to those two things being left there? Odd, eh?

No, it wasn't A1, it was strange off brand and I didn't really catch the label in the pic (that's one of our cooks holding the book, I pulled him out of the kitchen to check the deal out).

Seriously, how does this happen? Was the person thinking:

"I cannot bear the burden of this text book and steak sauce any longer. I'll just set them atop this dumpster and carry on."
