Chris Snyder, baseball player for the Diamondbacks was put on the disabled list for a FRACTURED TESTICLE! Are you kidding me? A fractured testicle!! Fuck!! I cannot imagine a force that could 'cause an injury called a testicular fracture that would not cause fatal pain.

Yeah I read a medical explanation and the only reason I could come up with for calling it a fracture was shock value. But still, I can't imagine my "boys" being subjected to such trauma!

It must be the year of the testicle in baseball. Back in spring training Felix Pie of the Cubs was out with a "twisted" testicle. One can only imagine how he got that injury.

The weirdest sports injury that I can ever remember was back in the 80's or 90's. The goalies net in Hockey was kept in place by short metal rods sticking out of the ice. A player (I forget who) slid into the net and the net broke free exposing the rods. The player managed to get one of the rods shoved up his ass. I'm sure thats an injury he will never forget.
