Probably a stupid question to ask as a newbie, but what type of lube do you use for masterbation and what kind for anal?

seriously dude, it doesn't matter one iota which you use. Use water based lube if your using condoms because others might damage them, plus no fatty stains on the sheets!

And isn't that "Vicarious" by Tool?

Yes it does matter.

For personal enjoyment a silicone base lube tends to last longer w/out drying up. "Gun Oil" is amazing and can be used with condoms.

DO NOT USE OIL BASE IF YOU WISH TO HAVE INTERCOURSE AS THIS RIPS LATEX.

I tend to stay away from oil lubes since it is pretty risky to grab the wrong bottle during sex.

Water based lubes are better for vaginal. Since it is water based it does not cause odor or infections and it washes away with a simple douche.

Lastly, no question is a stupid question as long as you truly do not know the answer to it. Don't let these fools bug you. They have no life.

one thing about silicone lube is its not compatible with silicone toys.
