Allanah: How about an HA convention??

I love this community. To the point that I was going through withdrawals during that period some months back when the site was down for some time. There's plenty of places you can go to on the web to see pictures of the girls but what I love about this community is much more than that.

There are some of us that don't feel as though we can be open with are friends and family about the passion that we have for the girls. This site allows us to have that outlet. If any of the fellas experience this the way I do then I know that there has been a few girls pics that you've wanted to or wished you could share with your boys. Here you can do that. When you're on here long enough (sharing stories, pictures, fantasies, debating politics, etc..) you start to feel like you actually know the people on here. Like we're really friends or something. That's atleast the way that I feel.

So that brought me to the thought that it would be great if once each year we could all meet at a hotel for a weekend to hang out. We'd have events planned, games, all types of stuff, and we'd actually be able to put faces to some of these names that we see all the time.

I think if nothing else it would be a great way to develop real friendships with people that share our unique interest and it could even be a way for some of us to find that special someone.

An HA shindig is an event that rears its ugly head from time to time with mixed results. Personally, I'd love to party down with the guys n' gals from this asylum (And have done so, on an individual basis, with a number of folx that I've met here).

The only negatives are the guys who are on the 'DL' or so far in the closet that they've found your Great Aunt Regretta's old wedding photos buried in the back. There's also the issue that our sweet gurls are spread from Santa Ana to Souvlic Bay and rarely travel outside of business. :(

One thought: A number of stars (And at least one Starr) tend to make an appearance at the AVN event in Vegas each year (At least one has a base just a block from the convention center - You know who you are! :wink: ). That might be one idea for a place to convene (And I know I'll at least get a free cheesesteak out of the trip).

As is said: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Hell, if such an event happened in Vegas, you bet your sweet bippy =I'D= stay in Vegas. :peanutbutter

Keep an open heart and prod the gurls and fans lightly and who knows?

Sure you could. All you would need to do is find a location and find out about the night life and day time amusements associated with the area. Then you contact the Hotels and negotiate a rate based on the amount of people that will be attending. Those people would be everyone that registers through the site and makes some type of advance payment (atleast half) as a sign of good faith that they'll be there so that you have accurate numbers. Everyone would be responsible for their own flight ofcourse (Switching areas of the country each year). You would then invite a bunch of the girls and tell them that it would be worth them coming because all of the money that they would make for the weekend would be right there in one fun filled location.

I think once the multi-million dollar renovation of the club I primarily work at is done, everyone should come to Minneapolis. They are revealing the final plans publicly tonight, and it looks pretty cool (huge roof top patio, need I say more?). Ru Paul and Shi Shi Larue are apparently going to be present, if anyone is interested in the drag scene.

Personally I'm staying home, I need to finish building a parade float tomorrow morning.

Would be nice but I think that even though we're an international community, most of the members are in the U.S. so it should probably be here.

Here's the beauty of something like this. There are girls that we no of that live on the opposite coast than we're on. If girls from all over the country came to an event like this it would give guys a chance to meet that one girl that they've been dying to have only she lives on the other side of the country. It doesn't make any sense to travel to the other side of the country just to meet that girl briefly on your own, but it makes alot of sense if meeting her could be an event each year where you're there, she there, and it centered around having fun among other things.

But that's why I said that you would have to pay for your own flight and it would move to a different city each year so that it can get close to everyone at some point that it's fair to everyone. It would take some sort of effort for the people that want to participate to get there. You would have to likely get on a plane.

lol, no matter what side of the US you do it on your gonna end up pissing someone off, and it dont matter to me, im fucked either way. lol cant afford an airline ticket or driving, ah screw it, set up a few laptops with webcams and the people who cant make it will at least be able to see the fun they are missing.
